Objective: Glucose metabolism and ranges of ischemic cardiomyocytes in model rats under fasting or feeding were compared by F-FDG PET/CT, respectively, to investigate the changes of glucose metabolism after myocardial reperfusion, and to determine time window of myocardial "ischemic memory" under feeding.

Methods: The ischemic-reperfusion model rats were established by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery of rats. In fasting-feeding experiment, long-ischemia rats (n = 10) under fasting or feeding were subjected to F-FDG PET/CT at 24 h after modeling.

Near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging technology is a highly sensitive imaging modality and has been widely used in noninvasively studying the status of receptor expression in small animal models, with an appropriate NIRF probe targeting a specific receptor. In this report, Cy5.5-conjugated anti-CAIX monoclonal antibody (Mab-Cy5.

Self-assembled DNA nanostructures, as a new type of nanocarriers, have shown great potential in molecular imaging probes. DNA bipyramid nanostructures (DBNs), as a classic kind of DNA nanostructure, can be precisely constructed through the unparalleled base-pairing precision of oligonucleotide strands. DBNs were prepared by self-assembly of six oligonucleotides with equal molar amounts in a single annealing step, and purified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
