In recent years, multifarious new materials have been developed for environmental governance. Thereinto, metal organic framework (MOF)-based catalysts have been widely employed for heterogeneous catalysis because of their high porosity to confine noble metal particles faraway from aggregation. However, the potential reactions between residual species from the material synthesis process and target pollutants, which could form highly toxic byproducts, are often neglected.

Detecting small signs in complex real-world environments remains challenging due to limited feature information and interference from other objects. In this article, we propose a novel text feature-guided network (TFG-Net) to improve the performance of the small signs detection not only enhancing the feature information of small signs but also avoiding the influence of other objects. As the name suggests, TFG-Net incorporates a text detection branch, which extracts additional textual features from the signs and supplies them to the object detection branch.

Nanosized sodium bismuth perovskite titanate (NBT) was synthesized and first used as the electrochemical immune sensing platform for the sensitive detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) grew on the surface of NBT through forming Au-N bond to obtain Au@NBT, and a label-free electrochemical immunosensor was proposed using Au@NBT as an immunosensing recognizer towards CEA. The well-ordered crystal structure of NBT was not changed at all after the modification of Au NPs outside, but significantly improved the conductivity, catalytic activity, and biocompatibility of the Au@NBT-modified electrode.

Few-shot video action recognition (FS-VAR) is a challenging task that requires models to have significant expressive power in order to identify previously unseen classes using only a few labeled examples. However, due to the limited number of support samples, the model's performance is highly sensitive to the distribution of the sampled data. The representativeness of the support data is insufficient to cover the entire class, and the support features may contain shared information that confuses the classifier, leading to biased classification.
