Background: The incidence of food allergy (FA) has been increasing worldwide, causing growing concern on a global scale.
Objective: This birth cohort study analyzes the incidence of reported FA and other atopic comorbidities in children from birth to age 2 years who were living in 4 urban and semiurban areas in Iran.
Methods: Children were followed from birth until age 24 months, with follow-up questionnaires administered through parent or guardian interviews conducted when the children were aged 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 months.
Background/aim: An injury sustained during sports activity can lead to the development of reinjury anxiety and hamper performance. Although tools exist to assess re-injury anxiety, a domain of interest in the field of sports medicine, research in the psychological impact of an orofacial injury is rudimentary. The present study envisaged to develop an instrument to assess the presence of reinjury anxiety following orofacial and dental injury in boxers aged between 10 and 16 years.

RTA is an important cause of rickets, particularly 'resistant rickets'. Dental manifestations frequently reported in patients with RTA include enamel hypoplasia and amelogenesis imperfecta, affecting permanent dentition.

Introduction: Thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA) are a significant health concern, with the true prevalence likely underestimated due to undiagnosed cases. Outcomes in TAA are influenced by factors like age, sex, and comorbidities such as hypertension. This study examines mortality trends and disparities associated with TAA in US adults.

Methods: A total of 160 children, 3-6 years old children reporting with dental caries to a hospital-based setting were recruited. Risk-based management of dental caries was conducted and followed for one year as per the modified ICCMS protocol.
This report presents a rare case of acute transverse myelitis (ATM) after mumps infection in a 33-year-old male. Symptoms included fever, parotid and scrotal swelling, and subsequent sensory-motor paraparesis. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed long-segment spinal cord hyperintensity, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis showed pleocytosis and elevated protein, with positive mumps virus antibodies.

Certain populations can be more vulnerable to injuries such as those with a sensory deficit. Nevertheless, literature is scarce, especially for those with hearing impairment.

We aimed to compare the clinical, radiographic, and overall success rates of apexification and regenerative endodontic treatment (RET), assess the methodological quality, and assess the strength of evidence for outcomes.
Methods: A search was performed in PubMed, Scopus, LILACS, EMBASE, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library.
Phytochemicals as dietary components are being extensively explored in order to prevent and treat a wide range of diseases. Apigenin is among the most studied flavonoids found in significant amount in fruits (oranges), vegetables (celery, parsley, onions), plant-based beverages (beer, tea, wine) and herbs (thyme, chamomile, basil, oregano) that has recently gained interest due to its promising pharmacological effects. However, the poor solubility and extended first pass metabolism of apigenin limits its clinical use.

This research article aims to evaluate the awareness and practices regarding STIs and RTIs among individuals attending an RTI/STI clinic in a tertiary care hospital.
Methodology: It is a hospital-based observational study using a universal sampling technique.
The fast improvement of cyberattacks in the area of the Internet of Things (IoT) presents novel safety challenges to zero-day attacks. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) are generally focused on exact attacks to defend the use of IoT. However, the attacks were unidentified, for IDS still signifies tasks and concerns about consumers' data privacy and safety.

Intramedullary implants have been established as superior to plate constructs. Our aim is to compare the complications and clinical outcomes of the Proximal Femur Nail (PFN) and Proximal Femur Nail Antirotation-2 (PFNA2) in managing unstable intertrochanteric fractures.

Background: Although many chronic inflammatory conditions are linked to elevated cardiovascular risk, the specific extent of this risk in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) remains elusive, largely due to the disease's rarity. Our study sought to clarify the cardiovascular risks and mortality linked to AAV.
Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted across multiple databases from their inception until April 2024 to identify studies comparing cardiovascular outcomes in patients with and without AAV.
Objective: Tooth bleaching procedures on nonvital teeth have been performed for crown discoloration caused by regenerative endodontic therapy (RET). However, leakage of bleaching agents across the root canal can be detrimental. This study aimed to assess and compare the penetration levels of hydrogen peroxide (HP) from different bleaching agents across calcium silicate-based coronal barriers in immature permanent teeth.

Thus, in this study, a stimuli-sensitive polymer-drug conjugate was synthesized for selective drug release. Doxorubicin (DOX) and docetaxel (DTX) were conjugated onto novel poly(jasmine lactone) based copolymer via a thioketal (TK) linker.

Rehydration of fragments improves bonding and fracture resistance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the fracture resistance of the reattached tooth fragment of the incisor crown after rehydration using either a steamer or a humidifier.

Objectives: In this study, the authors sought to evaluate the association between hospital percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) volume and readmission after AMI-CS.
Methods: Adult AMI-CS patients were identified from the Nationwide Readmissions Database for 2016-2019 and were categorized into hospital quartiles (Q1 lowest volume to Q4 highest) based on annual inpatient PCI volume.
