Determination of chondroitin sulfate in raw materials by liquid chromatography.

A rapid method for the determination of chondroitin sulfate in raw materials was developed. The samples were finely powdered, dissolved in water, and injected directly into the liquid chromatograph. The method used a C18 column, a wavelength of 195 nm, and a mobile phase containing octane sulfonic acid.
