The aim was to evaluate nerve healing using immunohistochemical, histological, and functional techniques and to compare the effects of two different therapeutic ozone application methods by perineural and intraperitoneal ozone treatment in rats with a crush injury model of sciatic nerve. Forty male Sprague Dawley rats were divided into four subgroups of ten rats each: (1) Control group: The left sciatic nerve incised and closed without crush injury, no treatment; (2) Paralyzed group: Crush injury to the left sciatic nerve, no treatment; (3) Perineural ozone group: Crush injury to the left sciatic nerve, treated with perineural ozone therapy; (4) Intraperitoneal ozone group: Crush injury to the left sciatic nerve, treated with intraperitoneal ozone therapy. The treatments were administered for a 14-day period.

Patients And Methods: Eight patients (5 females and 3 males) with various gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors were included in the study. Each patient underwent 3 whole-body PET scans at 10, 60, and 120 minutes after receiving an IV injection of approximately 162.
Background: Many patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019 pneumonia exhibit signs of microthrombosis. Previous studies discussed intravenous fibrinolytic agents as potential add-on therapy in these patients. Therefore, we propose the inhalative administration of fibrinolytics as a possible safer alternative.

This prospective study aimed to assess plasma cfDNA levels in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) to determine its role in predicting disease status in the post-operative setting.
Materials And Methods: This was a single-center prospective observational study conducted at a public medical research university and hospital in New Delhi, India.
The current study examined the effectiveness of Rhinapi, a hypertonic saline nasal spray with Anatolian propolis added, on allergic rhinitis (AR) symptoms in a European population. Four hundred and forty AR patients (251 males and 189 females) from various European centers were enrolled. Nasal examination, overall symptom scores, individual AR symptoms (nasal discharge, sneezing, nasal itching, and nasal obstruction), and quality of life (QoL) were assessed before and after 3 weeks of treatment with Rhinapi, the nasal spray made of hypertonic saline with Anatolian propolis added (Bee&You, Istanbul, Turkey).

The purpose of this study was to assess whether tooth location and cavity preparation affect the clinical success of MIH-affected permanent molars treated with the SMART technique.
Materials And Methods: Modified United States Public Health Service criteria were utilized for the analyzes.
We present a case of 12-year-old boy evaluated in view of refractory ascites in whom 18 F-FDG PET/CT incidentally revealed hypermetabolism in the medulla that was proven to be hypertrophic olivary degeneration on MRI.

We performed an experimental study on rats, in which they were divided into the following 4 groups of 16 subjects each. Group 1 [complete anastomosis (CA) without papaverine (CA -P) group], Group 2 [CA with papaverine (CA +P) group], Group 3 [incomplete anastomosis (ICA) without papaverine (ICA -P) group], and Group 4 [ICA with papaverine (ICA +P) group].

Methods: 84 patients with drug refractory epilepsy (DRE) who were operated and had histopathology consistent with FCD, were included in the study. All patients had undergone a complete work-up including SISCOS and MRI for EZ localization, followed by discussion in the multidisciplinary epilepsy surgery meeting prior to surgery.
Study aimed to increase university students' sensitivity and the environmental attitudes of secondary school students through environmental education program. It was planned as quasi-experimental research. The first phase was completed with five fourth-year students who took Social Awareness Course at a university's nursing department in Turkey.

However, these can miss ectopic parathyroid adenomas due to their limited sensitivities. These ectopic lesions can later lead to failure of surgical excision and necessitate the need for a re-exploration.

Needle-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (nCLE) enables real-time microscopic feedback on needle positioning, potentially improving the sampling location and diagnostic yield. Previous studies have defined and validated nCLE criteria for malignancy, airway and lung parenchyma.

We aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of Re-188 lipiodol exclusively in HCC with PVT as well as to compare two chelating agents for the synthesis of Re-188 lipiodol: novel bis-(diethyldithiocarbamato) nitrido (N-DEDC) with existing acetylated 4-hexadecyl 1-2,9,9-tetramethyl-4,7-diaza-1,10-decanethiol [(A)HDD].
Methods: Patients with radiological diagnosis of HCC with PVT having Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status ≤2 and Child Pugh score (PS) A or B were recruited.
Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are slow-growing tumors that express high levels of somatostatin receptors (SSTRs). Recent studies have shown the superiority of radiolabeled SSTR antagonists in theranostics compared to agonists. In this prospective study, we compared the diagnostic efficacy between [Ga]Ga-DOTANOC and [Ga]Ga-DATA-LM4 in the detection of primary and metastatic lesions in patients with well differentiated gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) NETs.
