Pulmonary sclerosing pneumocytoma is a rare benign neoplasm typically seen in middle-aged women. The exact preoperative diagnosis is quite challenging considering its nonspecific clinical and radiologic features along with complex histology. Moreover, obtaining an exact histopathological diagnosis can be difficult especially with the small biopsy specimens.

Primitive myxoid mesenchymal tumor of infancy (PMMTI) is a low to intermediate-grade, poorly differentiated myofibroblastic tumor and is characterized by its tendency to recur locally. It commonly occurs in the 1 year of life and is predominantly seen in the axial skeleton and rarely in the retroperitoneum. We report one such case of PMMTI, which is the second case reported in English literature.

These tumors can be easily missed or misdiagnosed. Due to large quantities of mucin, these tumors are presumed to be "soft" masses.

Here, we report a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with recurrent papillary tumor of the pineal gland, presenting with complaints of headache and vomiting. 18F-FDG PET/CT revealed an FDG-avid enhancing lesion in the posterior part of the third ventricle.

The patient presented with a nodule on the dorsum of right hand which resolved completely after 6 months of voriconazole therapy. The identity of the fungus was confirmed by sequencing internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region of rDNA.

Methods: Nasopharyngeal swabs (NPS) from patients at Hospices Civils de Lyon (November 2022-April 2024) suspected of viral infections (n = 788) and from healthy controls (n = 53) were analysed. The IFN-I score was measured using the FILMARRAY® IFN-I pouch prototype, which detects four interferon-stimulated genes.
Objectives: The study aimed to investigate and compare clinical features, disease activity, and the overall disease burden among psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients across seven distinct geographic regions in Türkiye.
Patients And Methods: A multicenter cross-sectional study involving 1,134 PsA patients from 25 referral centers across seven regions was conducted. Demographic and clinical characteristics, comorbidities, joint involvement, extra-articular manifestations, and disease activity measures were evaluated across regions.

BRCA1/2 are tumor suppressor genes which regulate the DNA repair mechanism. Mutations in BRCA1/2 may increase the risk of breast cancer in patients. In the present study frequency of BRCA1/2 mutations in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients was assessed and correlated with molecular subtypes of TNBC.

In a longitudinal analysis of 1340 samples from 375 healthcare workers, we characterized peak serological response and IgG half-life. Peak antibody titers post 2 vaccine doses were ∼ 20 times higher than natural infection; conversely, infected individuals had extended antibody half-life.

Methods: We searched the PubMed, Embase and GWAS Catalog databases for studies indexed between inception and 15 January 2024 describing genetic variants associated with IPF susceptibility.
Purpose: PET/CT-based Deauville scoring (DS) is routinely used for lymphoma response assessment. However, pathological correlation of DS is not yet precisely documented. In the present study we aimed to pathological confirm the PET/CT-based Deauville scoring (DS) in lymphoma after first-line chemotherapy.

Allogeneic grafts can also be preferred as an alternative to autogenous grafts in cases of vertical and horizontal bone deficiencies. The aim of this study is to evaluate the osseointegration levels of lathe-faced titanium implants placed together with allogeneic bone tissue transplants obtained from tibia, femur, and mandible bones using a biomechanical method.

Methods: We randomized patients undergoing flexible bronchoscopy and BAL in a 1:1:1 ratio to one of the 3 arms.
Introduction: Multisystemic inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) is a newly described disease manifestation in children associated with the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 infection and can be easily confused with Kawasaki disease with its clinical and laboratory findings. In this study, the clinical findings, organ involvements, similarities, and differences in laboratory and imaging of the children with MIS-C and KD at the time of admission will be revealed in detail, and the treatment methods and follow-up results will be revealed.
Material And Method: Our study was a single-center study and included pediatric patients who were treated with a diagnosis of MIS-C between March 2020 and July 2023 in the pediatric cardiology, pediatric emergency, pediatric infection, and pediatric intensive care clinics at Celal Bayar University and who were treated with a diagnosis of KD (complete/incomplete) between January 2015 and July 2023.
Background: Claudin-low breast cancers (BCs) exhibit more aggressive behaviour compared to claudin-high types. Claudin-low BCs are often characterized by features such as a higher grade, enrichment of stemness characteristics, and a propensity for metastasis. Tumour microenvironment (TME) defined as the intricate network of surrounding cells, blood vessels, and extracellular matrix components influences the behaviour of cancer cells within the breast tissue.

The diagnosis of PLCH traditionally involves clinical, radiological, and lung biopsy histopathological evaluations.
Case Presentation: We present 2 cases where the diagnosis of PLCH was confirmed through the analysis of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid cytology using immunoperoxidase technique, highlighting the significance of this minimally invasive technique in the diagnostic process.
