Objective: To study the effectiveness of the Second Short Form of the McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ-2) as an instrument for assessment and comparison of quantitative characteristics of pain in patients with chronic musculoskeletal impairment of the cervical spine and nonspecific neck pain accompanied by chronic migraine or cervicogenic headache (CeH).
Material And Methods: Forty-nine patients, aged from 19 to 60 years (mean age 42.8±10.

Aim: To study characteristics of the palmo-mental reflex (PMR) in patients with cervicalgia accompanied by the most common forms of headaches: migraine, tension-type headache (TTH) and cervicogenic headache (CGH).
Material And Methods: Prevalence of PMR was studied in a sample of 142 patients with neck pain (mean age 39.1±12.
Aim: To investigate the effectiveness of manual therapy (MT) in patients with nonspecific neck pain (NNP).
Material And Methods: Ninety two patients with NNP, aged from 18 to 60 years (41,1±10,2 years), 64 (69,6%) women, 28 (30,4%) men, were examined. Treatment duration was 3 weeks with 6 sessions (2 sessions per week).

Aim: Linguistic adaptation of the Russian version of the Short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire-2 (SF-MPQ-2), which is conceptually equivalent to the original questionnaire.
Material And Methods: The adaptation of the Russian version of SF-MPQ-2 was performed in accordance to established rules in several stages by two independent translators with the development of a consensus Russian version and its back translation by two independent translators and development of a consensus English version. The final Russian SF-MPQ-2 version was then created.
Study Design: Cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric testing.
Objective: To perform a validated Russian translation and then to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Russian language version of the Neck Disability Index (NDI-RU).
Summary Of Background Data: Neck pain is highly prevalent and can greatly affect daily activity.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between cerebral perfusion levels, Neck Disability Index (NDI) scores, and spinal joint fixations in patients with neck pain.
Methods: Forty-five adult patients (29 were female) with chronic neck/upper thoracic pain during exacerbation were studied. The subjects were grouped according to NDI scores: mild, moderate, and severe.
The aim of the study was to compare the serum levels of interferon-gamma (INF-gamma) and neopterin (NPT) in 10 patients with mild form of chronic periodontitis before and after operations. Overall objective of these operations is the elimination of periodontal and osseous pockets. 10 blood donors were included in the control group.

The experiment was based on computed tomography of the removed tonsil with intralacunar introduction of the contrast medium before and after intralacunar impact of surgical laser beam. The study demonstrates changes in the lacunar apparatus of the palatine tonsils in response to laser beam radiation.
