The escalating global energy demand necessitates enhanced oil recovery methods, particularly offshore. Biological nanotechnology offers sustainable, environment-friendly, and cost-effective alternatives to synthetic chemicals. This study explored the synthesis of polysaccharide-based nanoparticles (PNPs) from Corchorus olitorius leaves using a weak acid-assisted ultrasonic method and their application as nanocomposites for oil recovery.

We assessed the effect of consecutive ovum pick-up (OPU) procedures on oocyte yield and embryo production in Auliekol and Aberdeen Angus cows. A total of 2232 and 3659 oocytes were aspirated from Auliekol and Aberdeen Angus donors, respectively, with significantly higher yields and embryo production observed in Aberdeen Angus cows.

Some members of the avermectin family, such as ivermectin, have been found to exhibit anti-proliferative activity toward cancer cells. This study aimed to investigate the potential anti-cancer activities of avermectin B1a using the HCT-116 colon cancer cell line.

Methods: A multicentric case-control study analyzed 17,788 patients between 2015 and 2020.
Background: This study was performed to assess the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAPs) of farmers and veterinary professionals towards foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in the area studied.
Methods: The study was based on a comprehensive questionnaire administered through face-to-face interviews. Between January and May 2022, 543 households and 27 animal health practitioners (AHP) were visited in 4 provinces of the West Kazakhstan region to assess their KAPs towards FMD.

Background: One of the main reasons for the poor survival rates of pancreatic cancer patients is the development of gemcitabine resistance, indicating that novel treatment strategies that have the ability to improve gemcitabine sensitivity are in need to combat this devastating disease.
Methods: TCGA PAAD data was used to determine the clinicopathological significance of high RRM2 (Ribonucleotide reductase subunit M2) expression for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The effects of GW8510 and gemcitabine on PANC-1 cell viability were determined using WST-8 assay.
Introduction: Pharmacy educational standards provide requirements for interprofessional education (IPE). However, there has not been a comparison of IPE structure between doctor of pharmacy programs in the United States (US). The purpose of this study was to gather information regarding current IPE programs and curricula in schools/colleges of pharmacy (S/COP) across the US.

Precision medicine initiatives in oncology take into account individual variability in genes, environment and lifestyle factors. Genomic assays of patient tumors is now the standard of care in oncology and recommendations for targeted drug therapies are often formulated by interprofessional teams.

Differences in adverse effects, drug-drug interactions, and drug-disease interactions between those who use marijuana and those who do not were also compared.
Methods: Patients age 18 years and older who were receiving chemotherapy were asked to complete an electronic self-reported questionnaire.
Objective: Visual signs draw more attention during the learning process. Video is one of the most effective tool including a lot of visual cues. This systematic review set out to explore the influence of video in surgical education.
