Background: Objective mobility measurement of Nepali prosthesis users is lacking.
Objective: The objective of this study was to cross-culturally adapt, translate and evaluate construct validity of the Prosthetic Limb Users Survey of Mobility (PLUS-M™/Nepali-12 Short Form (SF)) instrument in lower limb prosthesis users residing in Nepal.
Methodology: Two forward translations, review and reconciliation, back translation, expert review, developer review to create the PLUS-M™/Nepali-12SF.
Purpose: The number of total knee replacements (TKRs) performed per year has been increasing annually and it is estimated that by 2030 demand would reach 3.48 million procedures per year in the United States Of America. The prevalence of periprosthetic fractures (PPFs) around TKRs has followed this trend with incidences ranging from 0.

As PIF4 functions by forming complexes with other proteins, determining its interacting partners is essential for understanding its diverse roles in plant thermal responses. The GST (glutathione-S-transferase) pull-down assay is a widely used biochemical technique that enables the investigation of protein-protein interactions in vitro.

Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is the gold standard, first-line investigation for evaluating gastrointestinal disorders. The aim of the study was to find out the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection among patients undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in a tertiary care centre.

As a result many cognitive neuroscientists have been motivated to adopt experimental paradigms that are more natural, such as stories and movies. Here we describe data collected from 58 healthy adult participants (aged 18-76 years) who viewed 10 minutes of a movie (, 1966).

It is often associated with preeclampsia and eclampsia in pregnancy, but can also occur in patients with other medical conditions, such as hypertension, autoimmune diseases, renal dysfunction etc. This case report highlights the importance of recognizing PRES in postpartum patients with hypertension and the need for prompt diagnosis and management to prevent potential complications.

Materials And Methods: We performed a systematic literature search identifying comparative studies meeting the above patient criteria and published from January 2010 to May 2022 from 3 databases: MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library. We performed the systematic review in accordance with PRISMA guidelines and the study was prospectively registered on PROSPERO.
Introduction: Refractory shock, which fails to respond to conventional vasopressor therapy, is a common complication of sepsis. Methylene blue has emerged as a potential adjunctive treatment option for reversing refractory shock in sepsis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of intravenous methylene blue infusion on hemodynamic improvement and mortality in patients with refractory shock.

Although researchers often rely on group-level fMRI results to draw conclusions about the neurobiology of language, doing so without accounting for the complexities of individual brains may reduce the validity of our findings. Furthermore, understanding brain organization in individuals is critically important for both basic science and clinical translation. To assess the state of single-subject language localization in the functional neuroimaging literature, we carried out a systematic review of studies published through April 2020.

We sought to generate much-needed evidence regarding whether, and which, young people are experiencing multiple intersecting effects.
Methods: Data come from cross-sectional surveys with young people ages 15-25 years in Mexico (nationwide, n = 55,692), Kenya (four counties, n = 2,750), and India (two states, n = 3,537), collected from late 2020 to early 2022.
Introduction: Spontaneous breathing trial (SBT) is always successful in mechanically ventilated patients. This study was conducted to assess the prediction of successful SBT and extubation of trachea by bedside lung ultrasound in mechanically ventilated patients.
Methodology: This was a prospective observational study for 1 year conducted at a tertiary teaching hospital ICU on 102 patients with age more than 18 years and who were mechanically ventilated for more than 24 hours.
Hashimoto's thyroiditis, a chronic autoimmune inflammation of the thyroid glands, is the most common cause of hypothyroidism in iodine-sufficient areas, which can have varied clinical manifestations. It is more common in females and usually has an insidious course. Most patients present with mild clinical symptoms, such as constipation, fatigue, and weakness.

Validation results of commonly used content and quality of care indicators routinely implemented in international survey programs vary across settings. We assessed how respondent and facility characteristics influenced the accuracy of women's recall of interventions received in the antenatal and postnatal periods.

Backgrounds/aims: This is a retrospective analysis of whether the 8th edition American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) was a significant improvement over the 7th AJCC distal extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma classification.
Methods: In total, 111 patients who underwent curative resection of mid-distal bile duct cancer from 2002 to 2019 were included. Cases were re-classified into 7th and 8th AJCC as well as clinicopathological univariate and multivariate, and Kaplan-Meier survival curve and log rank were calculated using R software.
Subject motion during fMRI can affect our ability to accurately measure signals of interest. In recent years, frame censoring-that is, statistically excluding motion-contaminated data within the general linear model using nuisance regressors-has appeared in several task-based fMRI studies as a mitigation strategy. However, there have been few systematic investigations quantifying its efficacy.

The basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 4 (PIF4) plays a central role in regulating thermomorphogenetic hypocotyl elongation in various plant species, including Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). Although it is well known that PIF4 and its co-activator HEMERA (HMR) promote plant thermosensory growth by activating genes involved in the biosynthesis and signaling of the phytohormone auxin, the detailed molecular mechanism of such transcriptional activation is not clear.

Because of physical limitations on the precision of this stimulation, the acoustic information delivered by a cochlear implant does not convey the same level of acoustic detail as that conveyed by normal hearing. As a result, speech understanding in listeners with cochlear implants is typically poorer and more effortful than in listeners with normal hearing.

Introduction: and Importance: Extra Mammary Paget's disease (EMPD) of the vulva, a rare postmenopausal entity, is responsible for less than 1% of all vulvar neoplasms. Invasive EMPD of the vulva with underlying squamous cell carcinoma is even rare.
Case Presentation: A 70-year-old para 5 postmenopausal lady presented with a history of vulvar itching and a gradually progressive reddish lesion on genitals unresolved by topical therapies for one year.
