Background: Depression alongside multiple long-term conditions (MLTCs) in older adults poses a critical public health challenge, worsening physical and mental health and increasing healthcare costs. COVID-19 restrictions further exacerbated these impacts. Behavioural activation (BA) shows promise as a remote intervention for depression during isolation, but its cost-effectiveness for depressed, socially isolated older adults remains uncertain.

The family Oceanitidae, formerly considered a subfamily of Hydrobatidae, includes all the small storm-petrels of the southern hemisphere. The ancestor-descendent relationships and evolutionary history of one of its genera, Oceanites, have been partially studied, yielding contrasting results. We revised the phylogenetic relationships of this group using Bayesian inference (BI) based on new sequence data of the mitochondrial gene Cytb and linear morphological measurements of all species and five subspecies-level taxa in Oceanites, including a new taxon from the Chilean Andes.

We are grateful to the Editors of TVA for the opportunity to respond to the commentary on our systematic review of the sex trafficking of minors, specifically regarding the initial recruitment location. Upon revisiting the 7 out of 23 reviewed studies that address recruitment locations, we find that the discrepancy with the commentators' views stems from differing interpretations of the term "initial." We affirm that these seven studies, which include the internet as a prominent initial recruitment site, are valid and appropriate for inclusion.

Indonesia has the third highest number of tuberculosis (TB) patients infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) Lineage 1 (L1). Most of these MTB L1 cases can be found in Indonesia's remote easternmost province of Papua, one of Indonesia's most underdeveloped provinces with a particularly high burden for TB. In this study, we sequenced and described 42 MTB L1 isolates from a well-characterized cohort of patients.

Over the past decade, British Columbia, Canada's westernmost province, has begun developing liquified natural gas (LNG) mega projects that can transport Canadian resources to foreign markets across the Pacific region. These projects have gained significant profile due to high-level debates over their environmental, social and economic impacts. While LNG projects are required to undergo environmental impact assessment procedures, there is growing recognition of the need to ensure that positive social, economic and environmental impacts are fairly distributed to local communities.

Background: Maternal pushing during the second stage of labor could influence labor progress and maternal-neonatal outcomes. Although the image of health care providers directing the laboring women to push during the second stage of labor could be commonly observed globally, this practice is not sufficiently researched and is questioned regarding its effectiveness and outcomes on the mother and baby. Meanwhile, a strategy referred to as "spontaneous pushing," which supports women to push by following their bodily urges, has been evaluated in several trials.

Background: Despite recognition of the adverse impacts of the mistreatment of women during pregnancy, labour and birth, there remains limited evidence on interventions that could reduce mistreatment and build a culture of respectful maternity care (RMC) in health facilities. The sustainability of effective individual interventions and their adaptability to various global contexts remain uncertain. In this systematic review, we aimed to synthesise the best available evidence that has been shown to be effective in reducing the mistreatment of women and/or enhancing RMC during women's maternity care in health facilities.
