Super-chilling can extend the shelf life of high-oxygen modified atmosphere packaged (MAP) pork from 14 to 56 days compared to conventional chilling storage. The spoilage of raw pork may result from the growth of microorganisms, which ultimately release undesirable metabolites. To investigate this, the microbial and metabolic characteristics of super-chilled MAP pork were determined using 16S rRNA sequencing and untargeted metabolomics based on UHPLC-MS/MS.

Introducing a reversible cross-linked network endows materials with reprocessability but often compromises resilience and mechanical properties. Hence, it is still a significant challenge to develop recyclable elastomers with high elasticity as traditional thermosetting materials and remolding ability as traditional thermoplastic materials.

This process has garnered considerable research attention in both industry and academia, yet it still presents considerable challenges. To achieve an effective and mild oxidative upgrade of the HMF molecule, a multiorganic-ligand-functionalized polyoxovanadate catalyst, VO(OCH)(mIM)(CHPO) (), has been successfully prepared by using both oxygen- and nitrogen-containing ligands.

It has important medicinal and economic value and is derived from the secretions of the scent gland sacs of male musk deer, which are dried and solidified under specific physiological conditions. Contemporary pharmacological investigations have validated its multifaceted pharmacological activities, including but not limited to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, and neuroregulatory effects, thereby substantiating its unique therapeutic status in the TCM pharmacopoeia.

Here, we show that colloidal QD photodiodes (QDPDs) with an ultrathin QD absorber layer have record bending stability with 100,000 repetitive bending cycles in QD devices. The QDPDs obtained a high-quality p-n junction with a 1700 rectification ratio.

However, the multidimensional features between primary tumors and organ-specific metastases remain poorly understood. In this study, we characterized the dynamic heterogeneity of GC from primary to metastatic stages.

These complexes play a crucial role in the regulation of gene transcription and the modification of chromatin structures. The aberrant expression of BRD1 is frequently observed across a range of cancer types, including hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC).

In the phase 2 NeoSAC trial, patients with early TNBC received six cycles of apatinib, sintilimab, nab-paclitaxel, and carboplatin followed by surgery. The primary endpoint was pathological complete response (pCR) rate.

Based on the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory (GLMT) and the Fourier transform method, a theoretical approach is introduced to study the scattering of a uniaxial anisotropic sphere illuminated by an off-axis high-order Bessel (vortex) beam (HOBVB). According to the orthogonality of the associated Legendre function and exponential function, a concise expression of the expansion coefficients of the off-axis HOBVB in terms of the spherical vector wave functions (SVWFs) is derived that can effectively reconstruct the HOBVB with all conical angles. The differences of scattering characteristics of a uniaxial anisotropic sphere illuminated by an on-axis and off-axis HOBVB and a plane wave are exhibited.

Utilizing innovative methods to advance the research and development (R&D) of health products and enhance their accessibility has become crucial to achieving universal health coverage, addressing public health emergencies, and promoting population health and wellbeing. However, structural contradictions do exist in the supply and demand of health products in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). With the joint support of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Ministry of Education, and the China-ASEAN Center, Peking University established the China-ASEAN Science and Technology Cooperation Center for Public Health in April 2023.
