Additionally, we explored the potential benefits of Cinn formulated as a nanoemulsion (Cinn-NE) in enhancing its efficacy.
Methods: Cinn-NE was prepared using the ultrasonic emulsification method.
Objective: Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a severe and permanent nerve damage condition that poses significant burdens on individuals and society. Various therapeutic approaches have been explored to mitigate the consequences of SCI. Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine have emerged as a promising avenue for addressing this issue.

Here, we investigated the structural and genetic relationships between global and regional brainstem volumes and blood pressure. We used magnetic resonance imaging data from n = 32,666 UK Biobank participants, and assessed the association of volumes of the whole brainstem and its main regions with blood pressure.

This hypothesis suggests that individuals with greater cognitive reserve can tolerate a more significant burden of neuropathological changes before the onset of cognitive decline. The underpinnings of cognitive reserve remain poorly understood, although a shared genetic basis between measures of cognitive reserve and Alzheimer's disease has been suggested.

Recently, this biopolymer has received extensive attention due to its low cost, notable properties, non-toxic biodegradation, ease of availability, and biocompatibility. However, disadvantages such as uncontrolled hydration rate and susceptibility to microbial attack have led many researchers to further modification of guar gum.

This study aimed to develop a new strategy for preparing a vaccine against cutaneous leishmaniasis using some of the antigenic proteins of the parasite.
Methods: This study was carried out in 2022 at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Ahvaz, Iran.
Along with a paradigm shift in looking at soft tissue fillers from space-filling to bioactive materials, decellularized extracellular matrix (DEM) fillers have gained more attention considering their superior bioactivity. However, the complex mechanisms that govern the interaction between host tissues and DEMs have been partially understood. This review first covers the mechanisms that determine immunogenicity, angiogenesis and vasculogenesis, and recellularization and remodeling after DEM implantation into host tissue, with a particular focus on related findings from filler materials.

Therefore, understanding risks and benefits of such algorithms is relevant at the bedside. ARDS is a complex and severe lung condition that can be challenging to define precisely due to its multifactorial nature.

The risk of frequent recurrence and incontinence complicates long-term treatment. Recent scientific literature has reviewed new techniques used for anal fistula treatment in recent years, assessing the advantages and disadvantages of each based on clinical outcomes.

This case highlights parkinsonism as a rare initial manifestation of sporadic CJD (sCJD), emphasizing the need for heightened clinical awareness to prevent misdiagnosis. Early and accurate diagnosis of sCJD is crucial for preventing potential iatrogenic transmission and optimizing patient management.

Aim: The purpose of this investigation was to examine the potential association between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes during pregnancy.
Background: Gaining insights into the effect of NAFLD on pregnancy outcomes is essential to ensure the health and well-being of mothers and infants.
Methods: This prospective cohort study was conducted at Imam Khomeini and Razi hospitals of Ahvaz City in 2022.
The skin, which covers an area of 2 square meters of an adult human, accounts for about 15 % of the total body weight and is the body's largest organ. It protects internal organs from external physical, chemical, and biological attacks, prevents excess water loss from the body, and plays a role in thermoregulation. The skin is constantly exposed to various damages so that wounds can be acute or chronic.

Loading 10 wt% of extract-curcumin (50:50) by electrospinng technique resulted in the formation of nanofibers (NFs) with diameter distribution 303 ± 38 and had a uniform and defect-free morphology. FTIR analysis confirmed the loading of the components without adverse interactions.

Here we developed the GSA-MiXeR analytical tool for gene set analysis (GSA), which fits a model for the heritability of individual genes, accounting for linkage disequilibrium across variants and allowing the quantification of partitioned heritability and fold enrichment for small gene sets. We validated the method using extensive simulations and sensitivity analyses.
