Nano-assisted inclusion separation of alkali metals from basic solutions was reported by inclusion-facilitated emulsion liquid membrane process. The novelty of this study is application of nano-baskets of calixcrown in the selective and efficient separation of alkali metals as both the carrier and the surfactant. For this aim, four derivatives of diacid calix[4]-1,2-crowns were synthesized, and their inclusion-extraction parameters were optimized including the calixcrown scaffold (13, 4 wt%) as the carrier/demulsifier, the commercial kerosene as diluent in membrane, sulphonic acid (0.

The novelty of this study was application of nano-baskets of calixarene and emulsion liquid membranes in selective and efficient preconcentration of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin. For this aim, four derivatives of p-tert-calix[4]arene bearing different sulfonamide moieties were synthesized and their inclusion-extraction parameters were optimized including calixarenes' scaffold and concentration (3, 4 wt%), diluent type in membrane, phase and treat ratios (0.

In this paper a new sensitive method for determining clenbuterol in livestock is presented. The novelty of this approach is the separation and determination of salbutamol enantiomers with marked quantitative merits.

The importance of calixarene nanobaskets in drug development and controlling their toxicity comes back to their ability to encapsulate the drug species and biological compounds. New complexes show improved physical characteristics, such as more solubility in water and enhanced chemical properties, including less toxicity in biological systems. Moreover, the covalent bonding, inclusion encapsulation, and induction activities of calixarenes lead to improving the activity of drug molecules.

Other problems are time and cost consuming, uncertainty of well isolation in test separator and need to close the co-line wells, which are diminished using multivariate thermal well testing. A novel approach was proposed and tested to classify the oil samples taken from individual wells by source and type.

The novelty is microextraction of a polar compound from a complex non-polar matrix and selection of proper fiber with maximum selectivity, loading percent, and lifetime. This approach not only does not require specific instrumentation, such as multiple columns, and selective detectors, but also has eliminated the use of organic solvent and avoids the insertion of water inside the GC columns.

Traditional methods for productivity surveillance of oil wells mainly are consisted of using test-separator units with expensive devices, protections, inspections, operations, facilities, infrastructures and repairing services. The objective of this work is to utilize a novel approach to predict the accurate productivity of oil wells using a single sample point at the line of blend oil. The present method is based upon performing multivariate regression of infrared spectra, which taken from the real samples of Iranian offshore oil wells.
