Introduction: The COVID-19 virus spreads at a high rate, exerting many physical, mental and psychological effects on patients. Patients with COVID-19 have been reported to have high levels of interleukin 1 and interleukin 6. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the psychological and personality characteristics of the applicants for facial cosmetic surgery.

Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 385 facial cosmetic surgery applicants who referred to medical centers in Ahvaz (south Iran).
