Introduction: As our growing population demonstrates a significant increase in the incidence of thyroid cancer, so does patient access to their medical records. Poor health literacy and understanding of disease severity, underscores the importance of effective and accessible patient-doctor communication. No previous studies on patient understanding of thyroid pathology reports exist; therefore, we sought to characterize health literacy in this population.

Tabletability is an outcome of interparticulate bonding area (BA) - bonding strength (BS) interplay, influenced by the mechanical properties, size and shape, surface energetics of the constituent particles, and compaction parameters. Typically, a more plastic active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) exhibits a better tabletability than less plastic APIs due to the formation of a larger BA during tablet compression. Thus, solid forms of an API with greater plasticity are traditionally preferred if other critical pharmaceutical properties are comparable.

Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics (AFHCs) are one of the critical pillars of India's Adolescent Health Programme-Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram that seeks to enable all adolescents to realize their full potential by making informed decisions concerning their health and by accessing the services. Thus, a review was conceptualised to assess the compliance of AFHCs with the benchmark proposed by the Government under Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram. Three databases (PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar) were searched for articles published between 2014 and December 2022.

The plasticity of materials plays a critical role in adequate powder tabletability, which is required in developing a successful tablet product. Generally, a more plastic material can develop larger bonding areas when other factors are the same, leading to higher tabletability than less plastic materials. However, it was observed that, for a solid form of a compound with poorer tabletability, a mixture with microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) can actually exhibit better tabletability, a phenomenon termed tabletability flip.

The release of fragments from plastic products, that is, secondary microplastics, is a major concern in the context of the global plastic pollution. Currently available (thermoplastic) polyurethanes [(T)PU] are not biodegradable and therefore should be recycled. However, the ester bond in (T)PUs might be sufficiently hydrolysable to enable at least partial biodegradation of polyurethane particles.
