To estimate the prevalence and study the clinical presentation of mild cognitive impairment (MCI), assess its outcome in terms of cognition and quality of life, identify factors for reversion to baseline, and compare these factors in the modifiable and nonmodifiable risk factor groups. Individuals aged >50 years with memory/cognitive complaint(s) were screened using the Mini-Cog over 1 year (August 2018-August 2019). Those meeting the criteria for MCI were enrolled, and risk factors (modifiable and nonmodifiable) were noted.

Importance: Religiosity and guilt are commonly featured in obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD). The role of religiosity and guilt in OCD has been frequently studied in the literature and suggested that greater religiosity/spirituality, paranormal beliefs, and magical ideation have often been associated with enhanced obsessive-compulsive behavior. India being a multi-religious country, it is particularly notable that a research was required to assess the role of religiosity and guilt in symptomatology and outcome in OCD, a condition in which religious themes are often present.

Background: The efficacy of naltrexone, baclofen, and acamprosate in the treatment of alcohol dependence has been successfully established over the past several years. The knowledge about their relative efficacies can facilitate in developing relapse prevention strategies that would give rise to a greater personal and socioeconomic benefits.
