Objective: is an obligate intracellular protozoon that infects approximately one-third of the human population. The parasite could transmit from mother to fetus in cases of acute infection during pregnancy and cause complications in the fetus. The bibliometric analysis is a popular research area that evaluates all the studies indexed in particular databases on a subject.

Materials And Methods: This multicenter retrospective study included 134 patients who underwent at least two courses of DARA from February 1, 2018, to April 15, 2022. Epidemiological, disease, and treatment characteristics of patients and treatment-related side effects were evaluated.
Introduction: Fetal ventriculomegaly, the most commonly identified abnormality of the fetal central nervous system (CNS), has been associated with elevated levels of the modified myocardial performance index (mMPI). However, the impact of other CNS pathologies on mMPI has not yet been evaluated. This study aimed to investigate whether there were changes in the myocardial performance index of fetuses with CNS pathologies without congenital heart diseases.

In the experiments, a 34 m/s impact velocity was set using the double-disc method, and five different particle impingement angles (30, 45, 60, 75, and 90°) were used to determine the erosive effect on the outer surfaces of filament wound composite pipes under the influence of 600 μm erodent particles with angular geometry in the test set, complying with the ASTM G76-95 standard. The winding patterns in the lamina (±55 angle-ply laminate region) and zigzag (±55 zigzag region) regions of BFR/EP pipes were determined to have significant effects on solid particle erosion resistance, as evidenced by the SEM images.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA two-dimensional theoretical model is constructed to describe optical mode-locking (ML) in quadratically nonlinear waveguide arrays (QWGAs). Steady-state solutions of the considered model are obtained by a modified pseudo-spectral renormalization algorithm, and the mode-locking dynamics of the model are investigated through direct simulation of the nonlinear evolution and a linear stability analysis of the solutions. It is shown that stable mode-locking of elliptic steady-state solutions in quadratically nonlinear waveguide arrays are possible for a wide range of parameters, suggesting that quadratically nonlinear materials are well suited for producing stable mode-locked states for a wide range of applications.

Hematological effects that may develop with this anticonvulsant; agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, aplastic anemia, eosinophilia, or pancytopenia.
Case Report: In this article, we wanted to present a case diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after long-term use of carbamazepine because of epilepsy.
Objective: In this study, we aimed to investigate the clinicopathological features and survival of CD, which is quite rare and has many unknowns.
Patients And Methods: This study was conducted by retrospectively evaluating patients diagnosed with CD in six different centers in Turkey.
Results: The median age of 33 patients included in the study was 49 and 51.
Solitary fibrous tumor/hemangiopericytoma (SFT/HPC) is a rare neoplasm arising from spindle cells and most commonly arising from pleura. Spinal SFT/HPC is a rare entity; hence, it is not on the top of the differential diagnosis list when a clinician faces a spinal lesion. In the review of the literature, there exist less than 50 case reports of intradural extramedullary SFT/HPC.

Introduction/background: The emergence of novel agents targeting the B-cell receptor pathway and BCL-2 has significantly changed the therapeutic landscape of CLL. We evaluated the safety and efficacy of single-agent ibrutinib in relapsed/refractory CLL in real-world settings.
Patients/methods: A total of 200 relapsed/refractory CLL patients with a median age of 68 were included in this retrospective, multicenter, non-interventional study.
Introduction: Roseola infantum is always considered to be among the differential diagnosis of young patients with fever and leukopenia whom to be strictly isolated with the preliminary diagnosis of COVID-19 until otherwise proven during the pandemic.
Results: Human herpes virus-6 (HHV-6) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) blood test was performed in 4 of 7 patients with a clinical diagnosis of roseola infantum and all found to be HHV-6 PCR positive. The most striking laboratory finding in all patients was leukopenia.

A theoretical model is developed to characterize spatiotemporal mode locking (ML) in quadratic nonlinear media. The model is based on the two-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with coupling to a mean term (NLSM) and constructed as an extension of the master mode-locking model. It is numerically demonstrated that there exists steady-state soliton solutions of the ML-NLSM model that are astigmatic in nature.

There is a positive correlation between serum imatinib concentrations and treatment response. Our aim was to develop a method for the measurement of imatinib and its' active metabolite N-desmethyl imatinib.

Objective: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory and demyelinating autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. It is known that the disease, which is manifested by a wide variety of symptoms, may exacerbate after anesthesia and show different responses to muscle relaxants in the normal population. It is planned to measure train-of-four (TOF) values of MS patients to be operated under general anesthesia before sugammadex application.

Methods/materials: Preoperative pelvic MR imaging studies of 68 women with surgical-pathologic diagnosis of International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage I endometrial cancer were reviewed for assessment of MR volumetry and qualitative assessment of MI. Volume of the tumor and uterus was measured with manual tracing of each section on sagittal T2-weighted images.
Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate whether adenomyosis had an effect on myometrial tumor invasion, stage of the disease, and survival in endometrial cancer.
Methods: Endometrial cancer patients encountered between 2007 and 2016 were identified from pathology records. Patients who underwent suboptimal surgical or medical treatment or with insufficient clinical or surgical data were excluded.
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics, treatment, survival, and prognosis of endometrial cancer in women aged ≤40 years.
Methods: Women who underwent surgery for endometrial cancer at a single high-volume cancer center between January 1995 and December 2014 were retrospectively reviewed. Women aged >40, patients with missing data, and those who did not undergo surgical staging were excluded.

Objective: Prolonged ventilation (PV) after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery is a common postoperative complication. Preoperative and operative parameters were evaluated in order to identify the patients at risk for prolonged ventilation postoperatively in coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) patients.
Design: Retrospective.
Objective: We aimed to investigate the relationship between the horizontal tumor diameter and prognosis.
Material And Methods: Patients' records were analyzed retrospectively. Patient data, including age, gender, vertical penetration, anatomic location, differentiation of the tumor, tumor node metastasis (TNM) stage, survival rate, and disease-free survival, were analyzed to find out if there was any correlation with horizontal tumor diameter.
Background: In this randomized and prospective study, we compared the analgesic effects of lornoxicam and tramadol in patients after inguinal hernia repair.
Methods: A total of 160 patients were assigned in a randomized manner into two groups. Group L received 8 mg lornoxicam i.
