The relationships between matrix support and the complexity theory have the Word articulation as a foundantion. Thus, there is a recognition that the notion of matrix support integrates a complex theoretical-methodological arrangement, wich inserts it in the Paideia methodology, placing it in relation to the circular method, the amplified and shared clinic, and the singular therapeutic project (PTS). The technical-assistance and pedagogical character, which characterizes the matrix support, is addressed by the aspect of non-linearity and incompleteness of knowledge, enabling the expansion of the reflective capacity of researches and, in this case, of health professionals.

Purpose: To assess the efficacy of allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells and xenogenic platelet rich plasma in the treatment of bone failure of osteoporotic rabbits secondary to estrogenic deprivation and iatrogenic hypercortisolism.

Methods: Eight female rabbits underwent ovarian resection and corticoid therapy to induce clinical status of osteoporosis. Four failures were produced in the tibiae, with each failure being treated with hemostatic sponge, allogenic mesenchymal stem cells, xenogenic platelet-rich plasma and the association between both.

Oesophagostomum bifurcum, as well as hookworm infections are hyperendemic among humans in northern Togo and Ghana. For parasite-specific diagnosis a coproculture is obligatory, because only the infective larvae, and not the eggs, can be distinguished morphologically. The sensitivity of duplicate coprocultures from a single stool sample was found to be above 90% in comparison to a gold standard of 10 coprocultures made from a single stool specimen.
