This study aimed to evaluate the instant inactivation effect of dielectric filter discharge (DFD) on severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) aerosols. The filter consisted of one layer of ZrO2 beads covered by aluminum mesh electrodes; this porous structure of DFD part generates filter-type surface discharge and reactive oxygen species. In a closed cylindrical chamber, DFD treated air flow containing SARS-CoV-2 aerosols, primarily composed of particle diameters of ≤ 1 μm.

Unlabelled: Follow-up raloxifene therapy after denosumab discontinuation resulted in a decrease in bone mass to the pre-denosumab levels and a rebound increase of bone turnover markers. The decrease in lumbar bone mineral density was particularly evident when the body mass index was low, there were previous vertebral fractures, or lumbar bone mineral density before denosumab administration was low.

Remote cerebellar hemorrhage (RCH) is a rare complication of neurosurgical procedures and is characterized by a typical bleeding pattern defined as the "zebra sign." Only few cases of RCH have been reported in the English literature, and its pathophysiology remains unclear. In this report, we present the cases of three patients with RCH after three different procedures: burr-hole trephination and chronic subdural hematoma evacuation of bilateral cerebral convexity with subsequent subdural drain insertion, lumbar drainage for cerebrospinal fluid divergence for thoracic endovascular aortic repair, and combined bypass surgery for moyamoya disease.
