[MRI role in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease: about a case].

Creutzfeldt-jakob disease (CJD) is a very rare and fatal disease affecting the central nervous system. It is characterized by mental deterioration leading to progressive dementia, pyramidal and extrapyramidal symptoms as well as myoclonus. Early diagnosis is essential to prevent human-to-human transmission.
