Knowledge and Perception Towards Psychotropic Drugs Among the General Population in Saudi Arabia.

Background: Mental health is crucial to overall well-being. Despite an increase in mental disorders over the past few decades, public awareness remains slow-growing, and stigmatization towards psychotropic medications persists. Therefore, this study aimed to identify knowledge and perceptions of psychotropic drugs among the general population in the Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia.

Exploring Different Management Modalities of Nonsyndromic Craniosynostosis.

Craniosynostosis is an atypical skull shape characterized by the premature fusion of cranial sutures. It is one of the most common congenital anomalies encountered by craniofacial surgeons, with a prevalence of one in every 2000-2500 births. It is classified into two main types: syndromic and nonsyndromic.

Middle East aircrew use of alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and medicaments.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of the use of alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and various medications among flying crew and clerks working in a ministry in Kuwait.

Methods: In a cross-sectional study, a self-administered questionnaire was filled in by 277 flying crew and 302 clerks of a comparable age and gender ratio.

Results: Frequencies of using alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and various medications were much higher among flying crew as compared to clerks.
