In this study, we first used the Hydrograph Separation Program to separate and analyze the base flow index (BFI) that was impacted directly by human activity and precipitation as an important climate factor from 1967 to 2016 in the Dez River Basin. Second, the Mann-Kendall trend test was used to identify trends and change points.

Amniotic Allograft, A Possible Alternative to Free Gingival Graft in Improving Attached Gingiva Width: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial.

Background: Years of research have well demonstrated the pivotal role the attached gingiva plays in maintaining of periodontal health.

Objective: This study aimed to compare the efficacy of two technics, amniotic allograft and free gingival graft (FGG), in improving the attached gingiva width (AGW) around the teeth.

Methods: In this randomized controlled clinical trial study, 28 patients all in need of increased AGW were randomly halved and assigned to a test group receiving the amniotic allograft and a control group treated by a palatal FGG.

Event-triggered surrounding adaptive control of nonlinear multi-agent systems.

This paper investigates an event-triggered control method for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems, in which a group of followers surround a group of leaders. Dynamics of leaders and followers are assumed to be heterogeneous and to have unknown parameters. To deal with this problem, some adaptive laws and also controllers including event-triggered estimator of leaders' geometric center are proposed.

Lack of significant association between Helicobacter pylori infection and homocysteine levels in patients with cardiac syndrome X.

Background: Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several diseases such as cardiac syndrome X (CSX), which includes chest pain, positive exercise stress test and normal angiography. Also, elevation of homocysteine (Hcy) level is associated with CSX, as it can severely disturb vascular endothelial function.

Antibacterial effects of Iranian fennel essential oil on isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii.

The aim of the present study was the evaluation of the antibacterial activity of Fennel essential oil on isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii. Forty eight isolates were collected from clinical specimens from burn wards of hospitals in Tehran, Iran between April and September, 2006. The susceptibility of isolates was determined using a broth microdilution method.
