Background: We sought to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic affected care delivery for HIV patients in Ghana.
Methods: Guided by the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we performed a cross-sectional study between May and July 2021 among 40 people living with HIV and 19 healthcare providers caring for HIV patients. In-depth interviews and focus group discussions were done with HIV patients, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, data scientists, administrators, and counselors to ascertain barriers and facilitators to HIV care during the pandemic.
Background: The effectiveness of eLearning in enhancing healthcare professionals' capacity has received substantial attention globally. This review sought to synthesis evidence on the effectiveness of various types of eLearning programmes, and the facilitators and barriers to its use.
Methods: The review was guided by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.
A 4 mo feeding trial was conducted to ascertain the effect of direct-fed microbial (DFM) and their products, namely rumen enhancer three (RE3), (P3), and a fermentation product of RE3-RE3 Plus on the growth and haematological profile of lambs at different stages of growth (suckling, weaner, and grower phases). However, daily medication costs are higher for a 4-month rifampin regimen than a 9-month isoniazid regimen.

This study aimed at comparing the genome of Enterococcus faecalis B3A-B3B, a bacteriocinogenic strain recently isolated from a healthy Iraqi infant to those of Enterococci of clinical and beneficial grades. The putative genes gelE, cpd, efaAfm, ccf, agg, and cob coding for virulence factors were detected in B3A-B3B strain, which meanwhile resulted to be non-cytotoxic, non-hemolytic, devoid of inflammatory effects, and sensitive to most of the antibiotics tested except for clindamycin and trimethoprim, which resistance is usually ascribed to intrinsic nature. B3A-B3B strain was remarkable for its hydrophobicity, auto-aggregation, adhesion to human Caco-2 cells, and survival in simulated gastrointestinal conditions, and cholesterol assimilation fulfilling therefore key beneficial attributes.
