[Effectiveness of radiotherapy and chemoradiotherapy of disseminated laryngeal cancer].

The results of therapy of 112 patients with squamous cell laryngeal carcinoma, Stage III, were analysed. All the patients were given gamma-beam therapy by a split course. The first group was composed of 29 patients who received radiotherapy alone, 33 patients of the 2nd group also received chemotherapy with methotrexate, 5 mg daily, and 50 patients of the 3rd group were given radiotherapy and methotrexate, 60 mg once a week.
