The study aims to explain the discourse of the collective subject of adult and elderly men about the experience of long COVID. Qualitative research, derived from a national multicenter clinical-virtual observatory involving 92 adult men, between 2022 and 2023 in Brazil. IRaMuTeQ software was used (data processing), the Collective Subject Discourse technique (analysis) and socio-anthropological references of the disease experience (interpretation).

Methods Age specific outcomes identified in a literature review were presented in a three round Delphi survey. Participants (professionals, parents and patients) were encouraged to suggest outcomes in the first Delphi round.

This discrepancy may be attributed to the efficiency of resource utilization. This study used the data envelopment analysis (DEA) methodology to assess the efficiency of healthcare systems in 23 Latin American and Caribbean countries.

This study investigates the effects of PBM on reactive oxygen species (ROS), apoptosis, oxidative stress, and inflammatory markers in a periodontitis model using C57BL/6 mice, divided into four groups: control (C), control + PBM (C + PBM), periodontitis (P), and periodontitis + PBM (P + PBM). An infrared diode laser (808 nm, 133.

RCTs are true experiments in which participants are randomly allocated to receive a certain intervention (experimental group) or a different intervention (comparison group), or no treatment at all (control or placebo group). Randomization, along with other methodological features such as blinding and allocation concealment, safeguard against biases.

Baseline data from the Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Aging (ELSI-Brazil, 2015-2016) were used. Frailty was defined by the Fried phenotype (unintentional weight loss, exhaustion, weakness, slowness, and low level of physical activity).

Interestingly, E6AP not only aids in the E6-directed degradation of cellular substrates but also stabilizes the E6 protein by protecting it from proteasome-mediated degradation. However, there is no information available about the ubiquitin ligases that regulate the stability and activity of the human papillomavirus (HPV) E6 oncoprotein in the absence of E6AP.

In our polarized societies, more companies are taking a stand on divisive sociopolitical issues. However, given the mixed findings from previous studies, it remains unclear whether Corporate Activism (CA) is more likely to hurt or help a company's performance and reputation, or shape the public's attitudes toward the sociopolitical issue involved. To better understand the impact of CA in polarized societies, it is valuable to study moderating factors, especially those linked to polarization.

Here, various loads of viral communities are introduced into paddy soils with different fertilization histories via a reciprocal transplant approach to study the role of viruses in regulating greenhouse gas emissions and prokaryotic communities. The results showed that the addition of viruses has a strong impact on methane (CH) and nitrous oxide (NO) emissions and, to a minor extent, carbon dioxide (CO) emissions, along with dissolved carbon and nitrogen pools, depending on soil fertilization history.

Triple-negative breast cancer is a heterogeneous disease with high recurrence and mortality, linked to cancer stem cells (CSCs). Our study characterized distinct cell subpopulations and signaling pathways to explore chemoresistance. We observed cellular heterogeneity among and within the cells regarding phenotyping and drug response.

The study highlighted the potential utilization of this method within public health services due to its low-cost, presenting a viable means to improve the diagnosis and prognosis of gastric cancer.

Objective: Evaluate the patients' and healthcare providers' level of satisfaction with telerehabilitation and perception of its efficacy and describe how it became an established resource in a network of rehabilitation hospitals post-pandemic.
Methods: The online survey about their experience with telerehabilitation was completed by 2,755 patients (322 new patients and 2,433 existing patients), and 668 providers from 26 different specialties.
