This study delves into the profound impact of mega-events on a destination's perception, focusing notably on Qatar's hosting experience during the FIFA World Cup 2022. Employing a qualitative longitudinal research approach, data is drawn from a variety of sources including Scopus articles, international studies, tourism records, newspapers, and interviews with diverse stakeholders such as visitors, tourism experts, executives, and government officials. Through an inductive content analysis of this extensive dataset, the authors identify key influencing factors.

It is well known that the addition of nanotubes can influence the mechanical properties of various industrial materials, including plastics. Electrospinning is a popular method for fabricating nanomaterials, widely suggested for polymer scaffold manufacturing.

A fine control of the processes of synthesis would enable the optimization of pertinent properties for use in various energy systems. This control, however, requires knowledge of the precise mechanisms of nucleation and growth of the nanoprecipitates, which are still a matter of debate.

In the considered linear aggregates, the short-range interactions of the tori are calculated. The dynamic state of a hexagonal tori cord is also considered.

Most mental disorders occur before the age of 25 years, and if left without intervention, they can transform into more severe mental disorders. Despite the great need to protect the mental health of children and adolescents, in Russia and most countries of the world, there is a shortage of qualified personnel in this area. The article presents data on the availability of personnel in different countries of the world, including Russia.

The vacancy formation energy in yttrium is shown to be relatively high (~1.8 eV), whereas the migration barriers are very similar for the jumps inside the basal planes and between basal planes, being equal to ~0.

It is shown that the treatment of diffusion-controlled cluster growth in terms of the Fokker-Planck equation is justified only provided certain restrictions are satisfied. First of all, the standard requirement that diffusion profiles of adatoms quickly adjust themselves to the actual island sizes (adiabatic principle) can be realized only for sufficiently high island concentration.

Background: The problem of closure of skull base defects after resection of craniofacial tumors remains one of the most challenging in neurosurgery. Local pedicled grafts are preferred material for plasty. In this study authors present original technique of using a pedicled buccal fat pad (BFP) graft.

In this paper we report the results of a multiscale study of hydrogen clusterization at the surface of (10,0) carbon nanotube. For this purpose, a systematic study of the binding energies and migration barriers of hydrogen adatom and various close adatom pairs of has been undertaken using density-functional theory approach. The interaction between hydrogen atoms on the surface of nanotube is shown to be long ranged and anisotropic.

Our aim was to find out whether therapeutic guidance during and after OPCAB, using an algorithm based on advanced monitoring, influences perioperative hemodynamic and fluid management as well as the length of post-operative ICU and hospital stay.
Methods: Patients were randomized into two groups of hemodynamic monitoring: the conventional monitoring (CM) group (n=20) and the advanced monitoring (AM) group (n=20).
Background: Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) can be associated with severe cardiovascular changes, thus requiring advanced haemodynamic monitoring. Our aim was to investigate the feasibility of transpulmonary single thermodilution (STD) combined with pulse-contour analysis, a newly introduced method for cardiovascular monitoring, for assessment of changes in haemodynamics during different anaesthetic techniques in OPCAB.
Methods: Thirty-six patients scheduled for elective OPCAB were randomized to receive anaesthesia either with midazolam, propofol or isoflurane, in addition to fentanyl and pipecuronium.

Hydrogen production by autotrophic, vanadium-grown cells of Anabaena variabilis PK84, a cyanobacterial mutant impaired in the utilization of molecular hydrogen, has been studied under simulated outdoor conditions. The cyanobacterium was cultivated in an automated helical tubular photobioreactor (4.35 L) under air containing 2% CO(2), with alternating 12-h light (36 degrees C) and 12-h dark (14 degrees to 30 degrees C) periods.

The highest volumetric H(2) production rates of native and mutant strains were found in cultures grown at gradually increased irradiation. The native strain evolved H(2) only under an argon atmosphere with the actual rate as high as the potential rate (measured in small vials under optimal conditions).

Toxicity of water treated by two disinfectants, AOKh-K and gaseous chlorine, was studied by biotesting on Daphnia magna, Tetrahymena pyriformis (TP) and renal epithelium of porcine embryo (REPE). The study showed that AOKh-K preparation is nontoxic and chlorine toxic for TP and REPE in concentrations 2 and 3 mg/l.

Based on clinical and catamnestic examinations of 75 children and adolescents with hypochondriac disorders, variants of borderline and psychotic disorders were distinguished. Comparative age-associated assessments of the psychopathological manifestations of the disorders were carried out. During transition from the preschool to the junior and adolescent age, the rise was noted of the number of the clinical varieties of hypochondriac disorders, complication of their structure and of the emotional experiences.
