It is characterized using the crystal structure and UV-vis absorption spectrum, as well as electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. Interestingly, the B-N bond was activated by the boron-centered radical anion 1˙, which had not been reported before.

In this work, the charge, orbital and spin order of the single-atom Fe loaded on heteroatom (X) doped-MoCS (X = B, N, O, F, P and Se) and its synergistic effect on electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) were investigated using well-defined density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Results revealed that the X-element modified the charge loss capability of Fe atoms and thereby introduced a net spin through heteroatom doping, resulting in the magnetic moment modulation of Fe.

Metal flux methods are excellent for synthesizing high-quality hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) crystals, but the atomic mechanisms of hBN nucleation and growth in these systems are poorly understood and difficult to probe experimentally. Here, we harness classical reactive molecular dynamics (ReaxFF) to unravel the mechanisms of hBN synthesis from liquid nickel solvent over time scales up to 30 ns. These simulations mimic experimental conditions by including relatively large liquid nickel slabs containing dissolved boron and a molecular nitrogen gas phase.

However, the oxidation performance is usually limited by the low yield and utilization efficiency of ROS. Herein, a B/N-doped diamond (BND) flow-through electrode with enhanced SO/OH generation and utilization was designed for electrochemical oxidation of organic pollutants in sulfate solution.

We retrospectively enrolled 64 patients with TPFs who underwent surgery at the Second Hospital of Shandong University. Patients were divided into two groups: Group A (n = 32) underwent early surgery with the novel incision management technique, and Group B (n = 32) underwent conventional surgery after swelling reduction.

Previous research prioritized genes by integrating Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) results with tissue-level eQTLs. Recent studies have explored brain cell type-specific eQTLs, but they lack a systematic analysis across various Alzheimer's disease (AD) GWAS datasets, nor did they compare effects between tissue and cell type levels or across different cell type-specific eQTL datasets.

In this work, B, N codoped FLPs catalysts (De-rGO-NB) were prepared by the strategy of fabricating carbon defects and heteroatom doping on the surface of reduced graphene oxide and applied in the selective hydrogenation of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes to unsaturated alcohols. It was found that electron-rich pyridine-N (Lewis base) and adjacent electron-deficient B-N (Lewis acid) sites could be constructed on the surface of reduced graphene oxide using dicyandiamide and metaboric acid as N and B sources, thus forming FLPs sites.

Methods: From March 2015 to December 2023, 208 consecutive BPH patients were enrolled into two groups: PAE monotherapy (Group A, n=168) and PAE followed by HoLEP (Group B, n=40). Differences in clinical and functional parameters between baseline and each follow-up point were compared.
Nitrogen-rich materials have attracted considerable attention in recent years as potential high-energy-density materials (HEDMs). However, their metastability poses substantial challenges for synthesis under ambient conditions. Here, we employ a novel strategy to explore energetic and structural features of the nitrogen-rich BN ( = 4-16) clusters by doping with the light non-metal boron.

However, the traditional boronate ester polymer NPs made of boronic acid and diols using a "single-lock" strategy (B-O NPs) exhibit low drug loading capacity (DLC) and insufficient lysosomal escape ability, resulting in limited antitumor efficacy. We develop a "two-lock" strategy that combines dodecanamine and boronic acid using boron-nitrogen (B ← N) coordination to enhance the formation of a boronate ester polymer.

Objective: To investigate the impact of surgical intervention on hemodynamic parameters and postoperative delirium in Stanford Type A aortic dissection patients.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 139 patients who underwent surgery for Stanford Type A aortic dissection from February 2022 to February 2024. Hemodynamic parameters, including maximum ascending aortic diameter (MAAD), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd), and ejection fraction (LVEF), were compared pre- and post-surgery.
Developing single crystals of covalent organic polymers (COPs) is highly attractive as they can afford precise structural information for studying internal interactions. Employing dative boron-nitrogen (B-N) bonds to construct single-crystalline COPs is feasible since the dynamic linkages can self-correct errors, thus improving crystallization. In this project, we develop a single-crystal COP with a nanobelt structure, namely CityU-26, B-N-driven-assembly between 4,4',5,5'-tetrakis(4-(pyridin-4-yl)phenyl)-2,2'-bi(1,3-dithiolylidene) and 1,4-bis(benzodioxaborole) benzene.

Online health communities have been found to be effective in enhancing patient compliance. However, empirical evidence supporting this effect in the context of depression treatment is absent, and the influence of online health community content on patients' attitudes toward medication adherence is also underexplored.
