To study the flow and strength characteristics of loess-based backfill materials, orthogonal tests were used to design a cemented backfill material combining loess, high-water content materials, cement, and fly ash. By using the range, analysis of variance, and multi-variate regression analysis, influences of four key factors on the initial setting time, diffusivity, compressive strength, and shear strength of the backfill material were investigated. These four factors included the mass concentration of loess water (A), the content of high-water content materials (B), cement content (C), and content of fly ash (D).

Thidiazuron (TDZ) is a widely used chemical defoliant in cotton and can stimulate the production of ethylene in leaves, which is believed to be the key factor in inducing leaf abscission. Ethephon (Eth) can also stimulate ethylene production in leaves, but it is less effective in promoting leaf shedding. Recent evidence supports a role for microRNA-223 (miR-223) in modulating tumor cell sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs; however, its role in cellular resistance to the effects of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) used in treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains to be elucidated. The levels of miR-223 in parental cell line (HCC827) and erlotinib resistant HCC827 cell line (HCC827/ER) were detected by qRT-PCR.
