Objective: The primary objective of this study was to identify the risk of metastasis to lymph nodes above the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) in endometrioid-type endometrial cancer (EC) and the factors that influence metastasis.
Methods: The study included patients who had been operated on for endometrioid-type EC in three gynecological oncology centers between 2007 and 2023. The supramesenteric lymph node (SM-LN) is the region between the left renal vein and the IMA, whereas the inframesenteric lymph node (IM-LN) is the region between the IMA and the aortic bifurcation, as determined by the level of the IMA.
Aim: This study aims to investigate the impact of integrating molecular and histopathological findings into the revised International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2023 staging system on patients initially diagnosed with stage I endometrial cancer (EC) according to the FIGO 2009 criteria.
Methods: A cohort of 197 EC patients, initially classified as stage I under FIGO 2009, underwent restaging based on the updated FIGO 2023 criteria. The patients' molecular and histopathological characteristics were documented, and their impact on upstaging was analyzed.
Background: Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) levels play an important role in diagnosing, screening, and monitoring the treatment of diabetes. Our study aims to determine whether a relationship exists between HbA1c levels and age and gender in Turkish adults who have not been diagnosed with diabetes.
Methods: This retrospective study included 6776 Turkish adults with no known diabetes.
Background: As previously reported, the measurement of ethanol can also be affected by interference from hemolysis. This is a matter of concern since ethanol is widely regarded as the most commonly abused substance globally. When sample re-collection is ordered to eliminate hemolysis effects for ethanol testing, this can have unfavourable consequences for these patients.

Patients And Methods: In this case-control study, the participants were recruited between January 2021 and July 2021. Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy Fatigue (FACIT-F), pain DETECT questionnaire, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) were administered to 50 PSS patients (48 females, 2 males; mean age: 48.
