Background: The global rise in the elderly population brings attention to the pressing issue of elder abuse, categorized into physical, psychological, neglect, financial and sexual abuse. According to the World Health Organization (2022), one in six individuals aged 60 and older has experienced some form of abuse in community setting necessitating increase in awareness and support for older people. Methods: Data regarding clinical presentation, treatment allocation, relapses and outcomes of patients fulfilling American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 1990 criteria for PAN in the last 2 decades were recorded from electronic medical records. Relapse-free survival and predictors were analysed using KM survival statistics and regression analysis.
Objectives: To study the rates of abnormal placentae and associated adverse perinatal outcomes in pregnant women who had COVID 19 infection during pregnancy, remote from delivery. To study the histopathological findings associated with these abnormal placentae.
Methods: A prospective cohort study was carried out, recruiting pregnant women with singleton gestation, who had COVID 19 infection during their pregnancy, remote from delivery between August 2021 to July 2022.
