Since infection with the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 first emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, the world has been battling the pandemic COVID-19. Patients of all ages and genders are now becoming infected with the new coronavirus variant (Omicron) worldwide, and its subvariants continue to pose a threat to health and life. The differences in the perception of parental attitudes (of mothers and fathers) and self-esteem of girls suffering from anorexia nervosa and their healthy peers were also analyzed.
Method: Two equally numbered groups of girls: the clinical group (30 persons affected with anorexia nervosa) and control group (30 healthy girls) in the 15-20 age range were examined.
The prospective studies included 178 patients (43 men and 135 women) aged 30 to 68 years, treated because of rheumatoid arthritis (R.A.).
