Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by abnormal dilation of microvessels in the dermal papillary layer. Multiple studies have demonstrated that vascular endothelial cells regulate vascular function rather than merely acting as passive barriers. Piezo1 serves as a critical mechanical switch, sensing mechanical changes induced by vasodilation.

Axionlike particles (ALPs) and dark photons (DPs) are viable dark matter particle candidates. We have searched for possible ALP/DP signals in the PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector using 440  kg·yr of data. A binned likelihood fit is constructed to search for possible mono-energetic peaks induced by the absorption processes between ALPs/DPs and atomic electrons of xenon.

Backgrounds: It has been regarded as an essential treatment option for diabetic nephropathy (DN) in Traditional Chinese medicine. Previous studies have demonstrated the anti-DN efficacy of Schisandra chinensis Fruit Mixture (SM); however, a comprehensive chemical fingerprint is still uncertain, and its mechanism of action, especially the potential therapeutic targets of anti-DN, needs to be further elucidated.

Objective: Potential mechanisms of SM action on DN were explored through network pharmacology and experimental validation.

Background: Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) represent a spectrum of severe drug-induced cutaneous reactions. These conditions are characterized by widespread and confluent keratinocyte apoptosis, which differentiates them from erythema multiforme (EM). Mounting evidence has implicated the mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis pathway in the pathogenesis of SJS/TEN, but the potential roles and specific mechanisms of these pathways in SJS/TEN remain largely unexplored.

Time series forecasting has attracted significant interest across various fields in recent years. Notably, Transformers have been extensively investigated for long-term time series forecasting (LTSF) due to their remarkable ability on modeling sequential data. However, the point-wise calculation of its self-attention leads to a challenging task for accurately capturing real-world time series' local and global characteristics, especially with multiple seasonal periodic components and outliers.
