The temperature dependence of heat capacity for lysozyme, myoglobin, beta-lactoglobulin, albumin, and poly-L-tryptophan was studied in the temperature range 5-330 K using an adiabatic vacuum calorimeter. The accuracy of measurements was approximately 0.2%.

[Mechanisms of psychological defense in patients treated by long-term hemodialysis].

Using the ++clinico-psychopathological method and experimental psychological techniques the mechanisms of psychological defence were studied in 46 patients with chronic renal failure. The adaptation character of the mechanisms of psychological defence was shown in terms of the dynamics of their types depending on the stage and treatment of the disease. The role of the sex, premorbid personality type of the patient, the type of the disease course, nature of mental traumas in the formation of psychological defence is validated.

[Characteristics of forming internal picture of ischemic heart disease by patients with endogenous psychoses].

To study formation of the internal picture of coronary heart disease (CHD), 116 patients with schizophrenia and manic depressive psychosis who suffered angina pectoris attacks and myocardial infarction were followed up. The control group was made up of 106 CHD patients treated at the cardiological hospitals. Of these, 88.
