[Recurrent pseudocyesis with polydipsia: a case report].

Introduction: Pseudocyesis is an imaginary pregnancy resulting from a strong desire or need for motherhood. Pseudocyesis has become increasingly rare in many parts of the world in which accurate pregnancy tests have become widely available. Cultures that place high value on pregnancy, or that make close associations between fertility and a person's worth, still have high rates of the disorder.

[Argon laser iridoplasty in the treatment of angle closure glaucoma with plateau iris syndrome].

Introduction: Plateau iris predisposes to the onset of an angle-closure glaucoma attack without pupillary block. This is a morphological anomaly of the iris characterized by anterior insertion, root thickness greater than the norm, and anterior rotation of the ciliary processes into the posterior chamber, pushing the base of the iris into the angle. Argon laser iridoplasty is useful to retract the peripheral iris using the thermal effect of the laser to widen the iridocorneal angle.

[Rat bite: an unusual cause of orbital cellulitis].

Rat bite is rarely reported in the literature. We report the case of a 33-year-old woman who was bitten by a rat on her upper eyelid. The clinical examination showed a large palpebral edema extending to the side of the face, associated with local signs of inflammation.
