Damage criteria for determining microwave exposure.

Current knowledge of health effects which may be attributed to non-ionizing radiation (NIR) is reviewed. The feasibility of using medical surveillance to monitor both occupational and public health is considered.

[Open bite in children. Contribution to its study].

A statistic and processing study of 40 cases of open bite deformities in infants is proposed from exact clinical examinations, and various teleradiographic analysis (Coutand, Delaire, Tweed, Sassouni). The statistic study set off the anatomical complexity of open bite deformities. The processing study, recording the concordance among various teleradiographic techniques, clear 4 associated dysmorphic groups susceptible to allow adjusted treatment planning.

[Growth of the fetal kidney. Echographic study].

An echographic study of the fetal normal kidney in 274 fetuses (548 kidneys measured) from 15 to 40 weeks of pregnancy is proposed by the authors. This work includes morphologic and biometric study with the growth curves of 4 parameters. It is shown that both kidneys are morphologically similar and their growth is continuous and there is a constant ratio between the different parameters.

[Changes in blood cell counts and coagulation factors during labor and after delivery (author's transl)].

Hemostasis and blood cell counts were studied during pregnancy, during labor, and after delivery in 76 women. Results were compared with data from a control group of 24 women. Previously published data are reviewed and the variations of studied factors are discussed.
