This study investigates the effects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) goods exports and environmental technology innovation (ETI) on mineral rents using a panel dataset of 23 OECD countries from 2000 to 2020. Employing a fixed-effects regression and several robustness checks (FGLS, PCSE, and DKSE), we find that ICT goods exports are positively associated with mineral rents, while ETI exerts a negative impact. Notably, the positive effect of ICT goods exports was more pronounced in countries with higher levels of ICT goods exports.

Acute pancreatitis is an uncommon though significant etiology of ALI caused by inflammation, fluid shifts, and ischemia secondary to microthrombi formation that can progress to liver failure if left untreated. We present a case of hypertriglyceridemia-induced pancreatitis resulting in liver injury-associated acute pancreatitis (LIAAP) and a concurrent consumptive coagulopathy consistent with an ischemic hepatopathy.

This cross-conjugated donor-acceptor skeleton can be prepared in two steps from commercially available reagents in overall yield ≈15-20% (5 mmol scale). DPNDs can be easily and regioselectively halogenated which opens an avenue to numerous derivatives as well as to π-expansion.
