Deep neural networks (DNNs) utilized recently are physically deployed with computational units (e.g., CPUs and GPUs).

One solution would be to off-load low-level image feature extraction, such as edge detection, from the digital network to the analog imaging system. To that end, this work demonstrates incoherent, broadband, low-noise optical edge detection of real-world scenes by combining the wavefront shaping of a 24-mm aperture metasurface with a refractive lens.

Thus, addressing autonomic dysregulation as part of a comprehensive treatment plan is important. The goal of this study was to gain a better understanding of the physiological benefits of a mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) for a population with medical conditions, using validated, objective measures of autonomic functioning.

Due to the long incubation period and variability of clinical signs, CWD can expand and spread to new areas before they reach diagnostically detectable levels. Antemortem testing methods currently available can be difficult to obtain and to be applied to the large numbers required for adequate surveillance.

Materials And Methods: We reviewed a single-surgeon experience of 429 systematic transrectal prostate biopsies from 2010-2014. Marking ink was applied to the capsular edge ex vivo following specimen acquisition, and the proximity of cancer to the stained capsular edge was measured.
