The frequency of perioperative stroke in cardiosurgical practice may reach up to 10%. The risk of stroke is especially high after coronary artery bypass surgery and valve replacement. Perioperative stroke is related to embolism with the fragments of atherosclerotic plaque, arterial hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias, hypercoagulation, etc.

Following 24 hours of administration of a thymocyte membrane structural agent, pituitary gonadotropic and gonadal androgenic functions became normal. There was no agreement between the hormonal parameters and the levels of nucleic acids in the testes and prostate.

44 patients with peritonitis of different etiology and two groups of differently-aged donors (19 persons) have been examined. Blood plasma levels of malonic dialdehyde and platelet morphological properties have been studied. In patients with peritonitis platelets are deformed and solid platelet aggregates are observed.
