This article explores the current status, stabilization methods, oil extraction techniques, and opportunities and challenges associated with rice bran utilization in Bangladesh.

In recent years, third-generation sequencing (TGS) technologies have transformed genomics and transcriptomics research, providing novel opportunities for significant discoveries. The long-read sequencing platforms, with their unique advantages over next-generation sequencing (NGS), including a definitive protocol, reduced operational time, and real-time sequencing, possess the potential to transform plant genomics. TGS optimizes and enhances the efficiency of data analysis by removing the necessity for time-consuming assembly tools.

Effectiveness of educational training program on the knowledge of COTPA Act among the nonteaching staff of a tertiary care hospital.

Background: Globally, tobacco is among the leading factors attributable to death. The nonteaching staff plays a pivotal role in making a campus a "tobacco-free zone." The objective of the study is to assess the effectiveness of an educational training program conducted on the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) 2003 among nonteaching staff of a tertiary care hospital.

Injury, substance abuse, verbal abuse, and emotional and behavioral issues among adolescents in Uttarakhand, India: A categorical principal component analysis of global school-based health survey.

Background: Adolescents in low-middle-income countries face increasing physical and mental health challenges. The present study aimed to assess status of injury, verbal abuse, substance use, and emotional behavior of adolescents of Uttarakhand, India, and evaluate the importance of each component.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among adolescents in 13 government schools in Uttarakhand using the Global School-based Health Survey (GSHS).
