The joint College of American Pathologists/American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics Cytogenetics Committee works to ensure the competency and proficiency of clinical cytogenetic testing laboratories through proficiency testing (PT) programs for various clinical tests offered by such laboratories, including the evaluation of cytogenetic abnormalities in solid tumors. Review and analyze 25 years (1999-2023) of solid tumor chromosome analysis PT results, utilizing G-banded karyograms. A retrospective review of results from 1999 to 2023 was performed, identifying the challenges addressing solid tumors.

Despite a large body of work on neighborhood effects on health, past studies are limited in their treatment of neighborhoods as largely static spaces with (dis)advantages based primarily on the average characteristics of their residents. In this study, we draw on the triple neighborhood disadvantage perspective to explore how socioeconomic disadvantage in a neighborhood's mobility network uniquely relates to children's overall health levels, independent of residential disadvantage. Purpose: To characterize the burden of uterine fibroids (UF) in individuals experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) and moderate-to-severe UF-associated pain in terms of symptoms experienced, impact on work and activities, and pain medication use both on menstrual and non-menstrual days.

Patients And Methods: This prospective, real-world, observational study enrolled 350 participants in the USA with a self-reported UF diagnosis, HMB, and moderate-to-severe pain due to UF. Data collection took place from February 9 to July 19, 2021.

Background: Bucket-handle meniscal tears (BHMTs) are a common subtype of meniscal tears that represent a clinical challenge. Arthroscopic inside-out repair has been considered the gold standard in treatment; however, an all-inside approach has gained widespread popularity, with limited long-term evidence.

Purpose/hypothesis: The purpose of this study was to (1) compare long-term clinical outcomes and rates of failure after surgical repair of BHMTs using the all-inside versus inside-out technique, and 2) identify risk factors for failure at long-term follow-up.
