Background: Laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy (LVMR) is considered to be the gold standard for managing rectal prolapse. Nevertheless, concerns have been expressed about the use of this procedure in elderly patients. Background: The optimal therapeutic strategy for drainage of malignant pericardial effusion is not yet determined. Several techniques are described, with different benefits and disadvantages.
