During the recent 18 years 13 patients aged 39-62 years with primary ureteral tumors were observed. The principal clinical symptoms were hematuria, pain in the lumbar region, a palpated kidney. the main diagnostic methods were as follows: cystoscopy, catheterization of the ureter, excretory urography (in early stages of the disease), retrograde ureteropyelography or antegrade pyeloureterography.
