Introduction: The aim of the work is to analyze stress distribution on 3D Finite Element (FE) models at bone, implant, and framework level of different designs for fixed implant-supported prostheses in completely edentulous patients, comparing results on whole and partially resected mandibles.
Materials And Methods: 3D anisotropic FE models of a whole and of a partially resected mandible were created using a TC scan of a cadaver's totally edentulous mandible. Two types of totally implant-supported rehabilitation were simulated, with four implants: parallel fixtures on whole mandible and on resected mandible, All-on-four-configured fixtures on whole mandible and on partially resected mandible.
As the older population increases, the number of elderly accessing the emergency department following a trauma increases accordingly. High-level trauma enters together with the identification of predictive parameters for poor outcome and mortality, may result in a death rate improvement of up to 30% in this group of patients. This study analyzes the epidemiology of major trauma admissions at Niguarda Trauma Center in Milan, Italy, focusing on the geriatric population and aiming to discriminate the trauma outcomes in the range of population between 65 and 75 years old (Senior Adult) and to compare it with the outcomes among people over 75 years old (Elderly).

Materials And Methods: Each step of the sentinel lymph node technique was analyzed. The cervix was exposed through the use of vaginal valves and by Martin pliers stapling of the anterior cervical lip.
Many organizations in Europe collect data and perform research on municipal solid waste and the secondary raw materials that can be produced from them through recycling, urban mining, or landfill mining. However, the information generated and presented thereby is often highly aggregated, while research activities are many a time isolated. Both reduce the usability of the data and information generated.
