The low stability of water-in-oil-in-water (W/O/W) double emulsions greatly limits their applications. Therefore, in this study, W/O/W Pickering double emulsions (PDEs) were prepared by a two-step emulsification method using polyglycerol polyricinoleate (PGPR) and xanthan gum/lysozyme nanoparticles (XG/Ly NPs) as lipophilic and hydrophilic emulsifiers, respectively. The regulation mechanism of the performance of PDEs by XG/Ly NPs was investigated, and the ability of the system to co-encapsulate epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and β-carotene was evaluated.

This led to multigram scale isolation of methanol obtained from CO2 reduction via the hydrolysis of borylated methanol, this establishes the potential of Ce[N(SiMe3)2]3(THF)3 as an efficient homogeneous catalyst for the bulk scale methanol synthesis. A practical application of this catalytic system was also shown by reducing CO2-containing motorbike exhaust efficiently and selectively.

Published studies estimate approximately 1 million people in the United States have GA in at least 1 eye. There is a lack of real-world evidence from the US payer perspective on the prevalence of AMD and GA among Medicare Advantage prescription drug (MAPD) plan enrollees.
