A new era in cancer therapy emerged with the arrival of immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), followed by a new cadre of immune-related adverse events that affect up to 40% of patients. Literature on the pathological features associated with these events is still limited. • - The findings suggest that a majority of older adults experience a moderate number of chronic conditions, and specific characteristics such as being male, older age, lack of education, and being a former smoker are linked to a higher burden of these conditions.

Background: The minimum mortality temperature (MMT) or MMT percentile (MMTP) is an indicator of population susceptibility to nonoptimum temperatures. MMT and MMTP change over time; however, the changing directions show region-wide heterogeneity. We examined the heterogeneity of temporal changes in MMT and MMTP across multiple communities and in multiple countries.
