Study Objectives: Physicians-in-training (residents, fellows) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) receive limited education on sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). They often assess patients first. We aimed to understand their views on OSA and screening for OSA in the perioperative period.

Reports on inhibition of inflammasome constituents on CNV are variable and the precise role of inflammasome in mediating pathological angiogenesis is unclear. Historically, subretinal injection of inflammasome agonists alone has been used to investigate retinal pigmented epithelium (RPE) degeneration, while the laser photocoagulation model has been used to study pathological angiogenesis in a model of CNV.

Our previous work has shown that mosaic loss of the Y chromosome (LOY) in leukocytes is causally associated with an increased risk for heart failure. Here, we show that LOY macrophages from the failing hearts of humans with dilated cardiomyopathy exhibit widespread changes in gene expression that correlate with cardiac fibroblast activation.

However, upon oxidation, a kinetically favored nucleophilic/electrophilic N-N bond forming mechanism was enabled to give monocationic μ-dinitrogen dimers. Computational and experimental evidence for this "oxidation-induced ambiphilic nitrido coupling" mechanism is presented.
