Background And Purpose: Prostatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) constitutes a rare and notably aggressive histological subtype within the spectrum of prostate malignancies, distinguished by a heightened propensity for recurrence and metastasis compared to prostatic acinar adenocarcinoma (PAA). Testicular metastasis in PDA is exceptionally rare. Despite sporadic reports in the literature, a consensus regarding the optimal therapeutic approach remains elusive.

Distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) absorptive materials have broad applications in optical fibre communications, solar cells, and other fields. This study adopts dispersion polymerization to prepare monodisperse polystyrene (PS) microspheres. Graphene quantum dots (GQDs) are prepared using the ultrasonic dispersion method.

Background: Hand and foot melanomas (HFM) have increased risk for positive margins after conventional excision (CE). Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) may improve margin clearance prior to reconstruction. Rates of reconstruction with positive margins have not been compared after CE versus MMS for HFM.

Protein constitutes the primary nutrient in soy, and its modifications are intricately linked to the properties of the soy milk powder. This study employed six main commercial enzymes (bromelain, neutrase, papain, trypsin, flavourzyme, and alcalase) to investigate the impact of enzymatic hydrolysis on the structural and functional properties of soy protein isolate (SPI), as well as its influence on the physicochemical properties of soy milk powder. The findings indicated that each of enzymes exhibits distinct specificity, with the degree of hydrolysis following the order: alcalase > flavourzyme > papain > bromelain > neutrase > trypsin.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) has demonstrated potential in promoting peripheral nerve regeneration. However, there is a limited and inconclusive study on the application of light-emitting diode (LED) for nerve injury repair. In this study, we designed an 807-nm LED device with high luminous uniformity to investigate the effects of LED-based PBM on peripheral nerve injury repair.
