The results of surgical treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation in 21 patients using closed reposition and stabilization with the use of 2 Kirschner arrowheads were presented in this study. Results of treatment were obtained on the basis of movable shoulder joint restriction, severity of pain, radiological images, as well as a subjective assessment of the operated limb function. Observation period ranged from 3 months to 3 years.

The aim of the study is analysis of outcomes of surgical treatment in a group of 32 patients with fractures of the proximal humerus treated surgically in the orthopaedic and traumatic ward of St. Lucas Hospital in Tarnów during the years 2006-2009. Renal oncocytoma is a rare finding and represents the small percentage of all kidney tumors. This kind of tumor is benign and diagnosed accidentally (on autopsy or during nephrectomy performed for other reasons). On rare occasions, truly multiple tumors are seen, affecting the entire renal parenchyma; this condition is called oncocytosis or oncocytomatosis.

This article describes a case of a 44-year-old male patient, with history, of tuberculosis who was admitted to the hospital with high temperature, coughing, haemoptysis, arterial hypertension and end-stage renal failure. In the differential diagnosis of haemoptysis we took into account pneumonia, exacerbation of tuberculosis, pulmonary neoplasm and Goodpasture syndrome. Presence of antibodies against the glomerular basement membrane (GBM) and histopathologic examination of biopsy specimen confirmed the diagnosis of Goodpasture syndrome.

Two cases are presented of intracranial cystic lesions, which were treated by the neuroendoscopic method. In the two cases the patients' radiological and clinical conditions improved. Neuroendoscopy is a very effective and safe method to treat intracranial cystic lesions.
