Objectives: To improve precision of secondary resection (SR) after positive surgical margin (PSM) detection by frozen section (FS) during nerve-sparing (NS) robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) by employing a personalised three-dimensional (3D)-printed prostate model derived from pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This model was used to mark positive surgical margins (PSM) and guide intraoperative SR during NS-RARP.
Patients And Methods: Prospective multicentre cohort study with 100 patients undergoing NS-RARP between September 2018 and August 2021.
The synthetic buffer compound TRIS (2-amino-2-(hydroxymethyl)propane-1,3-diol) is used in countless applications, and no detailed information on its degradation has been published so far. Herein, we describe the discovery of a complete bacterial degradation pathway for TRIS. By serendipity, a Pseudomonas strain was isolated from sewage sludge that was able to grow with TRIS as only carbon and nitrogen source.

Invertebrate grazers may be affected when foraging biofilms on plastics compared to biofilms on natural substrata but the mechanistic basis for these effects is unknown. For analyzing these effects in ecotoxicological assays stable and reproducible biofilm communities are required that are related to the environmental site of interest.

Here we describe the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary, hospital-based, breastfeeding support program among late preterm infants not requiring intensive care. The Early Bloomer Program includes an order set applied at birth, immediate lactation consultation, availability of donor milk, parent education on late preterm infants, hand expression teaching and kit including spoon and video link, and daily interdisciplinary team huddles.

However, in the context of a circular bioeconomy, more sustainable uses of residual digestate biomass would be desirable. This study investigates the fate of the sterol lipids β-sitosterol and cholesterol from the feedstocks to the final digestates of three agricultural and one biowaste biogas plants to assess if sterols are degraded during anaerobic digestion or if they remain in the digestate, which could provide a novel opportunity for digestate cascade valorization.
