Energy consumption of paraplegic locomotion using reciprocating gait orthosis.

The energy cost of walking using a reciprocating gait orthosis (RGOII) with functional electrical stimulation (FES) was assessed in 14 patients with spastic complete paraplegia from six rehabilitation centres.
